Roy Marchinton Training Stables,
bordering Bunyip State Park in Nar Nar Goon North,
and conveniently located 50 minutes east of Melbourne.

It is a matter of life that when around horses long enough, sooner or later, an owner is going to strike a situation that they feel inadequate to handle. With horses it could be anything from a minor misunderstanding, that only requires a change in perception or technique, to a major behavioral problem that requires the knowledge and skills of an expert horseman.

There are numerous fine trainers available to assist owners with these situations, but it is a rarity to come across a truly gifted individual who possesses the qualities of gentle firmness and sensitivity essential  for educating and competing with the top level show / performance horse.

Today, it is an accepted and acknowledged fact that Roy Marchinton is one of those gifted individuals.

 




Most recently, Roy has returned after competing, conducting clinics and training in Europe from 2000 to 2005, and has established himself on a 60 acre ranch in Nar Nar Goon North, Victoria, Australia.

Roy offers horse training and riding lessons to a broad range of clientele, whether it is for competitive sport or as an enjoyable pastime. While specialising in Western performance, Roy's abilities extend to all aspects of riding and training horses and riders.

Roy has successfully competed at the highest level of his sport and has established a highly-regarded name in his industry, both locally and internationally. Roy regularly conducts clinics around Australia and also overseas, including the US, Canada and Europe.
